BETH HUDSON, Founder

Artist + Designer

Beth is highly talented Interior, Graphic and Product Designer; with a fantastic eye. She creates her own pieces, plus discovers local talent, artists and craftspeople that design chic decor items, not just for her own boutique, Interior Design projects and clients, but also for local Interior Designers, Hospitality Owners and Stagers to source from.

SPECIALTIES:

Beth specializes in a variety of mediums such as sewing, knitting, weaving, cross-stitching, painting, furniture design, drawing, photography and candle making; creating beautiful pieces and accessories for the home. She also upholsters and sews custom drapery, bedding and pillows.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE:

Beth is educated in Fine Arts (majoring in Textiles and Furniture Design), Interior Design, Graphic Design and Fashion Design with over 30 years of design experience, including Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design and Graphic Design. She has studied at Mohawk College, Sheridan College, Beal Art School and Westervelt College.

PASSION:

She is passionate about inspiring and empowering local artists and entrepreneurs.

 

ACCOLADES:

Her work has been showcased in 'Interiors', an annual design event supporting Orchestra London and the London Homes magazine, as well as seen in the West of the City magazine, London Free Press, Toronto Star, Globe & Mail, Hamilton Spectator and Cogeco TV, and heard on CFPL and AM900 radio. Beth is known for her work in the community, including designing and managing the 'Extreme Makeover' on the Shifra House, a local shelter for homeless, teenage Moms and launching a non-profit organization to support, inspire and empower women and children-in-need, in the community.

Beth a Junior Leagues' Community Leader Award winner, a 2x Millennium Award winner, Judge K Warrendar Award winner, Hamilton Veteran's Award winner and a nominee and runner-up for both Burlington's 'Citizen of the Year' and 'Community Leader' Awards.
