BLACK ANTIQUE DRESSER

This stunning dresser caught our eye, as it is quite unique and tasteful - elegant yet classic. High-quality - made from all solid wood with dovetail drawer construction, it boasts excellent craftsmanship. The style is typical of 1925-1940’s - (we believe) in a solid ash wood with mahogany veneer, complete with 4 drawers, beautiful carved details, decorative feet and castors.
We have lovingly refinished this timeless piece in a classic soft black pepper chalk paint and wax, sanded and ‘aged’ it with our trademark, multi-step ‘apply-and-remove’ process to create an authentically aged look; tastefully detailing the unique carvings with subtle accents of gold.
This piece has been sealed with 5 coats of Annie Sloan wax for extra durability. Pumpkin shaped, crystal antique brass knobs and classic aged brass escutcheons have been added to honor the style of the piece, plus all drawers have been painted - inside and out and lined in a gorgeous vintage yellow floral (2 bottom drawers) and a classic, contemporary grey/white lattice pattern in the top drawers, for an element of surprise.
This piece quietly speaks sophistication, quality and style - a one-of-a-kind statement piece for a front hall, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, living room or family room in a modern farmhouse, shabby chic, country cottage, eclectic or classic decor.

Dripping with vintage romance, we love this gorgeous French writing desk for its symmetry, faultless workmanship and old world charm.
This vintage piece is high-quality - made from solid wood, it boasts ornamental details and bold effects. Built in the mid-20th century - a hommage to Louis XIV - a grandeur, lavish style from the early 1700’s in France - this desk comes complete with 5 drawers with dovetail drawer construction and a seat, both with beautifully carved details.
We have lovingly restored these 2 pieces in a classic soft grey chalk paint - sanding and ‘aging’ them with our trademark, multi-step ‘apply-and-remove’ process, tastefully antique-ing the romantic carvings with subtle accents of gold flourishes to create an authentically-aged look, then protected and sealed with 5 coats of Annie Sloan wax for extra durability. The original hardware has been kept to honor the style of the piece. Drawers have been painted - inside and out and lined in a classic, contemporary grey/white graphic pattern for a wonderful element of surprise. The seat has been reupholstered with a vintage pastel mink fur piece to bring out the warm tones in the desk and accents.

ANTIQUE EASTLAKE DRESSER

This piece from the Victorian era is high-quality - made from solid walnut, boasting organic ornamental spoon carvings, hand-made construction and dovetail drawer construction.
The Eastlake style of furniture was popular from 1870-1890, inspired by English architect Charles Eastlake, known for breaking away from high-relief carvings and classical elements - incorporating more modest curves with a nod toward modernism.
We have left the stain as we found it, but have painted, sanded and ‘aged’ the top with our trademark, multi-step ‘apply-and-remove’ process, in a creamy black - distressing it to look old, rustic and worn naturally - adding subtle accents of white, gold and blue on the top and gold in the fluted front details, then sealing it with 5 coats of Annie Sloan wax for extra durability.
We love how the rustic, industrial feel of the top compliments the feminine charm of the front!
The original antique brass hardware is stunning, and has been kept to honor the style of the piece. The drawers have been painted - inside and out and lined in a classic, contemporary grey/white graphic pattern for a wonderful element of surprise.

ANTIQUE DRESSER

We fell in love this old solid wood piece right away, due to it’s rustic charm and fantastic patina!
We have left the roughed up appearance and stain as we found it (as they are brilliant and can only come from natural aging and years of love and use,) but have sanded and ‘aged’ the dresser with our trademark, multi-step ‘apply-and-remove’ process - adding slight and tasteful elements of blue to the distressed areas, to celebrate the old, rustic and worn natural scratches and marks - then sealed it with 5 coats of Annie Sloan wax for extra durability.
The original oiled bronze hardware is stunning on the top drawer and we have added 4 new bail drop down handles on the bottom 2 drawers that flow nicely with the existing hardware, to honor and compliment the style of the original piece. The drawers have been painted - inside and out in a historic blue, with an aged-silver detail, leaving a strip of the original wood and stain open around the dovetail construction to celebrate the original finish and construction - and lined with a classic graphic pattern for a stylish element of surprise.
The rustic/industrial.cottage feel of this piece speaks charm and history - this one-of-a-kind statement piece is perfect for any front hall, bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom or dining room in a cottage, rustic, eclectic, industrial, modern farmhouse, shabby chic or classic decor style.
